Thanks, KrazyKat, for making it convenient. It sure was worth the trouble. Now to change the subject, can someone please tell me what is the difference between a “video” and “home movie”?

Video is technically only the visual portion. A movie is the whole thing.
Oh. Good. Because I don’t like home movies. On the other hand, when my father had an 8mm movie camera when I was a kid, he took tons of home movies but they didn’t have any sound because I don’t believe there was a provision for a sound track on 8mm film. Maybe I’m wrong but I thought they were all silent.

I must have gotten to the wrong video somehow, then. When it started there was an old man talking to a little girl who was in the picture. It looked like somebody’s home movies, so after a few seconds I dumped out. It didn’t seem to be about trains.

Well it was my grand daughter 1st rail fanning jaunt so she wanted it duly recorded & because she is my G/daughter I try to please her whereever possible [:)]
