Another New Video of my layout!

Okay, I finally finished filming and editing the footage from my ‘one man’ operating session.

The session normally takes 3-4 hours to complete.
I was filming for 7 hours.
Editing the clips took a good 5 hours.
The end result:

Running time is a little over 30 minutes. If you watch, I highly recommend using full screen mode and 480p streaming. (I think the default is 360p, change it on the little gear in the bottom right-hand corner)

If you don’t have time to watch the whole thing (I understand) I would at least watch the last few minutes (probably 28:20 would be a good place to start)

Nope. I have kadees, but I don’t have magnets for them yet.

The trick is in careful editing. Stop the train, uncouple by hand, make sure the cars are very close to the same spot they were when you stopped, then pull away. Then you can edit out the parts where your hands can be seen [;)]

So yes, I essentially cheated. (Or pulled a Hollywood [swg])

Acela, thanks, that was great, loved the music too! Definitely a lot of hard work went into that and, yes, it was worth it!

Couldn’t view it using Fire Fox but IE-8 worked fine

I don’t know what my problem is, but when I click on the link I go to the page and get the music, (relaxing) but all I get is a black line across the top. I can stop and start the video by clicking on the page, but no video appears. When I click on the options box at the top right corner, all I get is a full black page with an error message in small print in the upper left corner of the video. I am using IE8.

FYI, I have never had a problem viewing videos on MRR before.

Can anyone help.

With Firefox I got no sound but the video was fine. Good job.

I use Sony Vegas HD production suite software so I know the effort you put into this.
