It’s like I’ve been saying all along. Sellers on e-bay need to learn to take better pictures to market their products. I can’t tell which are the dummy units. Jack. [8D]

She’s on my favorite seller list!

There might be a railroad strike if Mrs. Jumijo finds out. [;)]

John

I’m sorry, I missed the trains…what was being sold? [}:)]

Absolutely true, John! A die cast loco will strike me right between the eyes! [B)] [(-D]

Jim

Thats a real shame that they were stored away for 15 years. However, I do think we should contact the TCA because those definately are reproductions, not original.

Serious question: Please don’t [(-D]…Was the final price of $152.50 a good deal? Thanks.

I wonder if she’ll be selling at York?

Those were in the “Trains by Fredricks of Hollywood” Christmas catalog, I believe.

I’ll find out this year. [:D]

you guys kill me…lol

Hard to say say since the ad wasnt geared towards the trains…

who knows how rotten the frame may have been around the battery, but generally 150 is average for silver top alcos.

Under normal circumstances I’d say that this thread was going to degenerate into one of those arguments over which is better: original versus reproductions. The last discussion had guys arguing over which was less expensive, a pristine original or a new repro. I can guarantee you repros are more expensive in this case. Jack.

Yea but I’m waiting for double Ds?

I am always learning. Thank you.

I have a bunch of surplus trains I’ve been looking to sell. I wonder if I could hire Brandy (Foxylady) to sell them for me. [:P]

Jim

Be careful, the commission may be more than the price of the train. [:O]

John

I’d say that this thread has ALREADY degenerated (lol). By the way, where is this auction location, Hooterville?

The shells appear to be silicone.
