Well, here is my switch question. I’ve gotten my track laid out, and am finalizing the wiring, etc. I have O22 switches. As you know, I had problems with one, and was able to fix it. Now it’s time to get bulbs for the switches. Some I believe are #1447 bayonet type bulbs. But I have 2 that have screw sockets in them. Are these #1449?
Also, what is a good source for the LED upgrades?
I’ll post pics of my progress here in a while…dealing with another kidney stone and don’t want to work too much…hurts
The 1445 and 1447 are the 18-volt, 150-milliampere G-3 1/2 “twins”. But the 1445 is the bayonet and the 1447 is the screw base. They are also rated at 135 milliamperes at 14.4 volts. The 1449 is also a G-3 1/2 screw-base, but rated at 200 milliamperes at 14 volts.
Anyone know of stores that carry these bulbs? My local hobby store doesnt have them, and I don’t want to run into St. Louis today to get them. I can order them online…but I’d like to tackle the project today if possible.
