Another rare visitor at Eola

Today during my lunch break I happened to see a relatively rare AC6000 unit (CW60AC in CSX language), CSX 5012, pulling a “Z” train with another mundane CSX unit and two BNSF units. This was rare in that the CSX units lead the engine consist on a “Z” train and the AC6000 units are really rare around here. Here is a photo of the unit I saw (not my photo)…

A CSX loco still in Conrail Quality paint would hardly be considered mundane.

Neil, the shot Jim used to illustrate “his” unit was taken seven years ago. A CSX/CR locomotive probably wouldn’t be mundane now, but I suspect that the locomotive Jim saw might have been.
