Another Silver Cardboard Balloon for Water

I found this silver cardboard balloon on the internet:

It has a nice ripply texture and has more shine than the larger one from my earlier post. It will make a good small pond. It is available from:

www.orientaltrading.com

They are 12 for $3.95 but the shipping is $6.95. About the cost of other water methods.

Just a thought
Harold

The water looks nice but those banks look a bit strange…like the water is higher than the surrounding land. (Sorry…couldn’t resist [}:)] )

Just a little more seriously though; what is the intended use of these things?

Chuck

I intend to use them to make ponds, they are party decorations

Here is a piece of the silver cardboard balloon temporarily glued to my old retaining pond:

Looks great.

I should have asked my question a little differently. I knew what you intended to do with these things. My question should have been ’ what would normal people (i.e., non-model railroaders) do with them?’ [:D] But you answered that question, too.

Wouldn’t the reflection of a train on a low trestle look neat?
