Campbell Scale Model offers a Stockpen w/Double Chute (Walthers #200-437). According to Walthers, the footprint is 10 1/2" X 1", but the picture hardly indicates a structure of this proportion. Am I just being a dolt here? Or is it meant to be 10 1/2" square X 1" high? I also can’t make out the second chute, presumably to allow for two cars to be loaded at the same time. Any help? Thanks.
No, there are two chutes up to the one loading point. From the photo I can’t tell if the chutes are on the same or multiple levels needed for loading double deck cars (sheep & pigs), but that would be my guess.
That is a really nice looking stock pen. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen one before.
Bearman,
A stock pen has to be the easiest thing out there to either scratch or kitbash. BTW: I picked up a Campbell’s stock pen for $5 at the last train show. I plan to bash it heavily to fit my space.
Double chute means two levels so you can load both the upper and lower levels of a stockcar (smaller animals (pigs, sheep) were loaded in cars with 2 levels).

I hate kitbashing anything, but it appears that I will be doing it on this one.
