Another testament to Walthers' customer service.

We all know how good Walthers is about getting parts to people, for free even.

I sent a request fro the drive bands on an EMC doodlebug. The one I bought at my LHS gave it’s drive band to another one that the LHS sold that didn’t have one, and so this one went into the old stock in back. I bought her for 10bucks to go to the NWR. I sent the email to Walthers, and the gentleman replied back not only tyhat they were sending me a pair of the bands, but he also went out of his way to point out the the O rings sold in Hardware and Auto Part stores are functionally identical to the Drive bands in the Walthers models, that I could take one with me to find the right size for future reference.

Isn’t that the kind of cross-curricular advise WE come up with?

Hmm, when you find the right size post what it is and where you found them.

That is good customer service. Maybe he told you so they woun’t have to supply any more free ones. [:D]

Offhand I’d say you hit the nail on the head there…
