As you guys know, BNSF derailed 24 autoracks in Beyers, Missouri on monday. On tuesday I went out and I am glad I did. I killed 7 birds with 1 stone. here are those seven firsts in order.

1.) My First Train on the River Sub (A Rush Island Coal Train with a CSX SD50)
2.) My first time seeing a CSX Non-AC Unit on a coal train
3.) My first BNSF “H3” locomotive with the new logo, ES44DC #7795
4.) My fist Train on the Cuba Sub that I got on Video
5.) My first time getting a NS Horsehead logo on video, SD70M #9624
6.) My first time getting the aftermath of a derailment on video
7.) My first time shooting at Vally Park…Were UP and BNSF are mearly yards apart

Has anyone gotten this many firsts in one day? BTW…all the cars in the autoracks were destroyed…Nissan Pathfinders are now on BACKORDER in the Chicago area since the months supply has been destroyed. (About 300 cars totaled.

I have had four firsts in one day! Here’s how they went:
My first H4 BNSF “ES44DC” #7748
My first “GEC-ALSTHOM-GCFX” leased SD40-3 #6042
My first CSX AC6000CW in the “Dark Future” paint.
My first CN SD40M-2
…They were really enjoyable!!!

I feel sorry for their Insurance Company to have to total up the cost of the loss.
