Antique O scale models

I have in my possession 4 model car kits that are in the original boxes with all included hardware. 3 of them are kits by B C Models, distributed by Boxcar Ken. They are all streamline cars, kit numbers 500, 502, and 503. The descriptions are 15" Streamline Coach Kit with corrugated sides, less trucks, and couplers. 1 car has been assembled while the other 2 still are unassembled and have instructions, etc.

The 4th car is from Walthers, it is a 3332 S Postal, less trucks. This car has been assembled also. All cars are unfinished and are as they came in the box.

Can anyone get me in touch with someone that can give me an idea of the value of these, or can give me a lead to someone that might be able to tell me?

These are family heirlooms and I am needing a valuation for estate putposes.

There are no real established values for these types of kits because the interest in them is limited. However, vintage unbuilt passenger car kits of the variety you describe typically get $25.00 to $50.00 mint and complete. Finished models depends on the quality of the work. Anything less than professional often makes the finished model worth less than the unbuilt kit. Price also is dictated by how badly the buyer wants it. If a guy needs one particular car to make a set he already has complete and correct, he might pay $100.

For what its worth, I recently bought two vintage O scale kit built boxcars on ebay. Both cars were well finished and in excellent condition (under the dust) and were being sold in seperate auctions. The total including shipping was about $70.
