Any N scale Canadain National units?

Hey guys, first of Merry Xmas[dinner] I am wondering if any body nows any good Canadain National locos in N scale besides the Kato SD40 IC units? Thanxs in advance… Tim

Kato has a C44-9W in Canadien National.

It depends what you’re looking for. What era and paint schemes do you want to model? Are you looking for current production models or out of production models?

As far as N scale goes, I model CN in the 1950s. Here’s what I have in my fleet:

SW8: 8503, 8517 (Life-Like)

SW9: 7003 (renumbered), 7005, 7008, 7009 (Life-Like)

SW1200RS: 1300, 1301, 1304 (Life-Like)

GP7: 1711 (renumbered), 1721 (Atlas)

H24-66: 3000 (Atlas)

2-8-0: 2436, 2525 (Bachmann Spectrum)

CFA16-4 & CFB16-4: 8710, 8701 (Life-Like)

FA-1: 9401, 9402 (Life-Like)

RS-3: 1807, 1812 (Atlas)

RDC-1 & RDC-3: D-200, D-101 (Kato)

All of these are factory painted in the old CNR green and yellow or black and yellow schemes and are out of production, but within about a year’s time and some scrounging on the Internet I was able to find them.

Few, if any at all.

By far the majority of “Canadian” lettered loco, freight cars and rolling stock are just American models painted in Canadian colours and are not accurate for Canada. They are missing many Canadian specific details.
