I moved here a year ago from the Chicago area and comparitively speaking, the Charlotte area does not seem to be a real hot bed of activity in this regard. Anyone know of any clubs in the area or for that matter, anyone working on forming one? Maybe it’s the lack of basements in most homes here…it’s hard enough negotiating with the powers that be ( we know who that is) for a piece of basement real estate next to the hot water heater, let alone, ( heaven forbid) in the living room.
