Yep, I would have to agree. They’re building a wind farm on top of a mountain not too far out of Altoona headed toward Beford. For the longest time I would see giant lowboy tractor and trailers hauling these gigantic tubes that looked like silo’s but they were tapered too. For the life of me I couldnt’ figure out what they were until I put it together that they were the main support tubes for the wind mills. Now I don’t see so many tubes but I have see the blade hubs and the generator housings being shipped now. I wonder where they’re being manufactured, becauseI haven’t seen them on trains, but only 18 wheelers!!
