Hi,

I’m still looking for guys to come over and talk and watch trains. My layout has all sidings in and we can either have an operating session or just watch trains run and have a “bull” session. I live in Rocky Hill. I ran this post a few weeks ago and got a couple of guys interested in coming over. I’d like to find a couple more guys.

I am not from Connecticut, but I sure admire David Popp’s Naugatuck Valley N scale New Haven layout. However, since he works for Model Railroader magazine, I assume he lives in Wisconsin.

Common Guys,

I get only 1 response to my posting from a guy who lives in Texas who tells me he likes the HO scale layout of the Naugatuck Railroad?

I realize we’re in New England, where people are known to be unfriendly and after hibernating all winter, they barely know what another human being looks like but I’m offering an open house layout tour and some discussion and train fun. What’s better than that?

Hi there. I’m a bit far, out in Greater Metro West Boston. However, the next time the family is taking a trip to NYC… Oh yes, we New Englanders are a reclusive bunch. What’s amazing is the people who have experienced Boston’s free-for-all traffic cannot stand the mellow, restrained mindset of drivers in other cities. :slight_smile:

Hi Mondo, I live in Central Mass, about 40 miles west of Boston. I have conversed with several other people from New Enland, such as Joshi and Mr. Beasley from Bedford, Ma, and there is another guy from CT but I can’t remember his name at the minute…hey after 67, the buffer is full, any more bits entering the brain causes the shift register to shift them right out of memory…lol

Sorry Mondo…Model railroading is not very high on my priority list right now…I’m busy with a lot of other things…I’m lucky if I get in an hour or two in my layout, and as I said I’ve got a lot on my plate; model railroading isn’t even on my mind…

I responded to your other post as well. I’m in Canton, lived in Rocky Hill for a couple a years, and I’d love to come over. I’m not entirely sure when I can fit it into the schedule. Randy
