Nope, but it cant be any harder than decoderizing and Ernst-ifying an old Athearn Hustler to make it run both smoothly and DCCably.
Pop the lid and put in a DZ123 or some similar tiny decoder and have fun 
I’d look up the MR issue for you, but mine are all in the hands of a collector now. The MR online magazine search engine might help you tho.
