Anyone else notice this?

For the third straight month, Bob Sprague has a trackplan in Model Railroader. I couldn’t be the only guy who noticed that could I?

(Keep up the good work Bob, if you’re on here.)

Clearly Bob Sprague is just a cover name used by MR staff members.[;)]

I’ll bet Bob Sprague did [(-D].

Time was, almost every issue had a John Armstrong track plan. Then, for a while, Don Mitchell was a regular track plan contributor.

More recently I haven’t been noticing the designers, since track plans based on North American practice are of, at best, academic interest to this modeler. My own track plan doesn’t resemble any I’ve seen published.

Maybe MR needs more contributing authors???

It’s simply a matter that MR can’t publish what people don’t submit.

You mean this Bob Sprague:
