Anyone familiar with Model Power/Faller Etrains?

I posted this the other day, but in the wrong forum (oops)

Anyway I am cleaning out my old train room and came across a set my grandfather got me when I was about 5. They are Model Power/Faller E trains. They are a large scale train (I have HO and N scale and these are much much bigger).

I was thinking of giving them to my nephew for his first layout, but Im not sure if Im going ot do that. He seems to play with toys for a day then throw them in his toy room and for gets about them.

I got that set for my son Daniel in the UK a good long time ago, I forget when. It was also put out under the Playmobil name I believe and was the right size for their little people. My son loved it and we still had it until about five years ago. In fact its memory was what made him buy me my first Lionel set for Christmas which got me back into trains. Happy memories.
