Anyone got any pics of steel truss bridges??

I need to paint a couple of my warren truss bridges but im finding it tough to find anything on the net.

This is the sort of thing im after but this is the only one ive found so far.

How about this one:

The center span swings for river traffic.

Rust looks like a good choice…

Here is a bridge you won’t see very often:

In fact, this guy has pictures of just about every type (older) bridge you can imagine

Yep, i like rust[:D]

This is great http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=417433 Thanks!

Thats what i call a river in flood!

Some very usefull pics guys, thanks. These will come in very handy as im a great believer in painting what i see, not what i think i see.

Here is one more site I found to have many

http://www.pghbridges.com/pittsburghE/0585-4477/ft_wayne_brA.htm

If you use the menu on the left it will provide many pages of bridges. Amazing how the guy goes to all that effort to create a website , yet shoots his pictures with such awful lighting

He did better on this one:

And, just because I see bergie has put up some new forum tools to display images, and I want to test them, I thought this picture offered some unique qualities:

http://www.maritimeconsultant.com/tugboat.htm

This website contains photos of a through truss bridge and it’s misadventure with the M/V CAHABA

If you have an interest in trains and Towboats this is worth a look. Has a number of pictures, if you are on a dial-up. But it is worth the wait!

Hope you enjoy!
