Did anyone got they Train Maz 2012 issue Yet? I have not got my issue yet.[?]
Me neither.
…Bingo. Yes, several days ago.
Mine arrived yesterday (2nd). Holiday season mail can be a little slower.
Got mine in the mail today!!!
I haven’t gotten mine yet. But that’s not unusual. One month it shows up early, then next a week or two late. If it didn’t come in the plastic wrapper I would suspect the mailman was borrowing it.
Is Trains going to follow MR’s lead and go electronic?
Mine arrived today (Dec 3).
Came in Friday; haven’t had a chance to look at it yet, though.
I haven’t seen the DECEMBER issue yet in the UK!.. The Kalmbach rowing boat is still out in the Atlantic. It is in company with the December Garden Railways. [:(]
I received mine on Friday and read about half of it while trackside yesterday afternoon but there were lots of trains at Eola so I didn’t get to finish it…maybe today or next weekend.

Is Trains going to follow MR’s lead and go electronic?
I hope not! I can’t take the computer in the bathroom with me!

That’s what tablets are for…
“That’s a fact! Jack!”
I got mine on Friday, the earliest it has been for a while. (2nd of the month)
Bruce
Tablets? I had to think about that one. Anti-diharreals? Oh, THOSE kind of tablets, those new-fangled things I see the kids using. Sorry man, I’m a dinosaur, I like my paper!
I got my Trains Today Dec 5, 2011.[:D]
Tablets, Kindles, and various other electronic TOYS aren’t too bad for reading cheap romances and detective stories but it’s kind of difficult to turn back to a previous page when you want to go back to something when you want to see how everything fits together.
I wonder how they’d handle foldouts or centerspreads…
Folks —
TRAINS has not made any announcements in terms of offering a digital edition yet. However, as noted, other Kalmbach titles are offering that, so I’d say it’s not inconceivable that we’ll be making such an offering at some point. However, allow me to clarify one thing:
Model Railroader is still available as an ink-on-paper product, and will be for the foreseeable future. If and when TRAINS begins offering a digital edition, it will be for the purpose of giving our readers a choice of how to take the magazine. So for those of you who still like ink on paper, fear not; so do we, and so do a lot of our other readers. Whatever plans may or may not be in the works for a digital edition, I can promise all of you that there are no plans whatsoever to stop offering TRAINS as a printed magazine. Period.

Firelock76:
I would not like to read 70 or 80 pages of Trains Maz on my computer in the chair, I love to sit in my Lazyboy chair to read Trains Maz.[Y]
