Crandell,
Jeffrey just got out of the hospital stay this past weekend because of an infection in his leg(?). There’s also an issue with his eyes that keeps him from spending much time on the computer. Because he was stuck in the hospital, Jeffrey said he was pretty much incommunicado for a number of days. (Not by choice.) He has posted a few times in the Diner thread.
Tom
I was wondering where he has been, sure he will pop soon in WPF.
Ken
Jeffrey.
If you spot this thread, I’m sorry that you were under the weather and I really hope that you got one of those young good looking nurses looking after you and not Nurse Cratchit sticking you with rusty needles.
Get well real soon and get back on track.
All the best,
Blue Flamer.
Thanks, Tom…I should have thought to look in the Diner. I never go there, but you are right. Anyway, I have seen posts of his in other similar threads since posting this, but on other fora. Good to know that he is mostly okay.
Get well, Jeffrey! [:)]

I’m just getting over a bout of temporary partial blindness. This was caused by the powerful antibiotics that were being used to battle an infection. They attacked the infection but they also attacked the lining of my optic nerves. The lining will regenerate but it will take time. I expect to have myt full vision back in about a month.
Sorry to hear about your derailment!
I am sure the rerailer is in place and everything will soon be rolling again!
Get well and stay on track!
Cliff
Our thoughts are with you, Jeff.
Best wishes Jeff, hope you recover soon!
I too am developing an eye problem that I will have to have corrected.
It isn’t any fun.
At this point mine isn’t serious, but more of a frustration when trying to work with
small parts, or flying my model airplanes.
Take care and happy MRRing!
Ed
Hey Jeff,
I also was wondering where you have been.
Good luck and best wishes from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
Bob
Jeff, I suppose we all have to operate under slow orders every now and then; you just take time to let the ol’ bod repair and you’ll be highballin’ along the main in short order.
Here’s hoping you have something good to look at when you do!
John
Jeff,
Also being Diabetic I know what you are going through. I hope everything turns out ok for you. MRR is probably the last thing on your mind. You family & health comes first. My prayers are with you my friend.
TAKE CARE
MIKE
Here’s another get well wish. This one’s from Pittsburgh. Get well soon and I hope that the antibiotic side effect clears real soon.
Joe
And here is another one.Get well soon.
Model railroaders are the greatest bunch of people I know. Reading all of the concerns for Jeff here is really heartwarming. [tup]
As many of you know, Jeff frequently visits the Elliots Diner thread. Each of you is welcome to visit in the diner, too. You can share your “whatevers” there if you wish.
Happy Model Railroading
Get well, Hope you feel better.
Jeff:
Hoping you get Back On Track very soon. We miss you, buddy. I miss you, buddy.
Prayers for you.

More well wishes from the 4th Corner (Pacific Northwest) Jeff.>P>Sorry to hear that you’ve been under the weather. Glad to hear that you’re on the mend. Take the time you need to take care of yourself.
As you can tell, you’re a valued member of this community! Capt. G.
Jeff,
You’re missed. Keep a positive attitude, take good care of yourself and always say something to brighten up someone else’s day too. [;)]
