I have Caboose Industries HO High Level ground throw 204S
Looks a little high to me does anyone have any pictures so I can compare
The turnout and the ground throw should both be on the same base, like cork roadbed or foam. Yes, they are extremely oversized due to the giant fingers that move them, but we live in an imperfect world.
Well if they are out of scale in HO they are really out of scale in N. Here is what they look like in N. 
But on the other hand, I don’t have N scale fingers.
They work well.
Do you mean the assembled height? I assembled mine sans the lense thingy on top.
