Anyone here do Day Out with Thomas ???

This all reminds me of my first layout - in N scale - it was British outline and featured all the Tomix engines and rolling stock for Thomas - at that time the yen was very favorable to the dollar, and in the dark ages of the Internet, I enjoyed researching andworking with a shop on the Ginza to import them for a great price.

We did the Thomas at the Brason Senic a couple years back.It was my son birthday,And guess what he turned 6 today. He likes to run our train layout and has a good throtle hand already.I had road the BSR before and really like the passenger cars they have there,I’m a dome car fan foreshure.Pete

Enjoy the day. I worked at the TCA Museum today and ate lunch in the Red Caboose dining car with a crowd of youngsters. I had forgotten about Thomas. I did get to see him heading down the track. They were also running old # 90. A long line of tents set up for you to deposit money. [:)] The librarian said it took her a while to get through Strasburg at noon.

I was at Strasburg to see Thomas last weekend. I’ve posted some photos online at: http://www.railserve.com/strasburg/thomas07/

Welcome to the board!

WOW what great pictures! Thanks… [#welcome]

Had a great time today with family on my Birthday !

njalb1, great pictures! Looks like y’all had a great time. Funny thing, I love my trains, but I love sharing them with the kids even more. Great to see the excitement in their eyes.

njalb1,

Glad to hear that you enjoyed the day. By the smile on her face it looks like the little one enjoyed it as well. Even Thomas was smiling. Old #90 looks to be in fine form as usual. Was the Plymouth operating?

Hi John,

Thanks for the nice words! Yes the Plymouth was working !!
