Anyone installed 2+ sets of Rapido's Totally Wired poles? SOLVED!

I am getting ready to install three sets today. Wouldn’t you know it, the instructions are wrong (I believe) and the support office is closed for the weekend. The instructions have been revised once.

Currently Rapido shows Step 13 saying, when adding the second set, …"Remove the wires then attach them to the back of the double pole (installed in Step 10)…

They must mean, …"Remove the crossarms with the wires you have attached then attach them to the back of the double pole (installed in Step 10)…

If you have installed a couple of sets, is my thinking correct?

I saw a video on doing it. I don’t think it was the video that is on the Rapido site though. It may be on You-Tube or somewhere else. Maybe a Google search might help.

Thanks, Brent. Yes that is Rapido’s video. They show how the poles are set out simply from the foam base. However, they set out a half dozen or so and that’s it.

I am quite sure I know what they mean to be happening when adding a second set. There aren’t a lot of posslble steps. And what they have written is a seemingly impossible direction to glue each of the 17 wires to the crosspieces of the last pole installed.

So I’m going ahead with what I am quite sure is intended.

Yes, I was right.[:)]

Just spoke to Dave at Rapido this morning and instruction Step 13 should read, “Glue the crossarms to which you have glued the wires to the back of the double pole installed in Step 10”.

That seemed obvious but it pays to check…particularly with something fussy like these may be if installed too quickly.
