Anyone know a source for ACL loco (and cars) rosters for the mid 40's to late 505's?

I have looked on the Seaboard Coast Line historical assn website, but they don’t have anything like that (that site also looks like it’s not had an update in a while)

Any point in the right direction would be helpful.

Once upon a time there was info like this available on the internet, for the SAL. Never was much for the ACL though. Today it has all been put on CDs and is offered for sale. The ACL/SAL historical society website can help you to find info in books. .

Well an Official railway Equipment Regsitry(ORER) from the period would have everything in interchange service. That would be all freight and pssenger cars for the quarter and year published. The NMRA sells one from that era. Others are out there. You could aldo try the historical society for input.

Actually the ACL/SAL Society has one of the best membership magazines out there. They also have an excellent internet modelling magazine on their website. The website is oriented toward the membership’s use.

Here’s a web site for the ACL/SBD

I swear they’ve done a big update to that site since last time I looked at it.
