I had originally heard that BLI was going to do two cars a month–then I was stunned to see Walthers ship me six cars as part of the “1st shipment.” I see that BLI have now grouped cars into three shipments. Does anyone know when the 2nd and 3rd are to come out? I need to budget!
I don’t know the schedule, but real nice aren’t they. I “inspected” one at my LHS.
They certainly are great cars–a sort of compromise between something Walthers might have done and Overland’s brass line. For the first time, there’s a relatively affordable, realstic set of HO CZ cars. The sad thing is that supplies are so limited, you have to get them while you can.

On the right side of the page in the “BLI News” click on “New Cal. Zephyr photos now online”.
Go to the bottom of the page and click on “back to the Cal. Zephyr main”.
On that page under Order Now click on “Availability” and it will give you the list of cars in the three different shipments. Most likely alot of the cars you ordered were in the 1st shipment.
