Anyone know the Book I'm Talking About?

Does anyone know the name of the train book that was mentioned in the Last MR “Track Planning/Layout” video series (those videos that come monthly made by MRing Magazine) in regards to Layout Operation? The video shows the members of MRing during an operating session of a N-scale layout and they mention a book in regards to train rules and/or operation that’s available. From the picture it looked like a small thick hard-back book, want to try to order it today though I’m nowhere close to home where the video is.

Many Thanks,

Hello Steve,

The book is “Rights of Trains,” by Peter Josserand, published by Simmons Boardman. I know because I’m the one who recommends it on that DVD, and I’m holding up my own personal copy. The easiest way to get a copy is to use Amazon.com. Just search on the title and you’ll find it right away.

So long,

Andy

Thanks Andy for the reply, I’ll make sure to get that asap looks like a great reference. BTW, are you guys putting out more videos or is the Layout Operation video the last of the series? The videos are great and I highly recommend them for both the novice and seasoned modeler.

Yes indeed the Realistic Layout Operations video was a good one. For some reason I was able to stay with the video whereas I tend to get lost in mag articles on the subject. Only thing is the cost. I got about $250 invested in videos now. The magazine is much cheaper, however if a picture is worth 10,000 words then a videos gotta be worth a little more anyway.

So the next question, whaat videos are you talking about? I can’t find any videos on operation on either the MR or Kalmbach websites.
