ANYONE KNOW THE GENERIC EQUIVALENT OF A 022 SWITCH LIGHT BULB?

Lost a 022 switch bulb. I guess it is a minature bayonet base G6 28 volt. About $2.00. Anyone know more about this or where they can be purchased? The Boston area electronic supply shops do not stock the non-Lionel replacement bulb. Thanks

Here are some possibilities:
53 G-3 1/2 14.4 V 120 mA
57 G-4 1/2 14 V 240 mA
265 G-3 1/2 28 V 80 mA
293 G-4 1/2 14 V 330 mA
356 G-3 1/2 28 V 170 mA
456 G-4 1/2 28 V 170 mA
1445 G-3 1/2 18 V 150 mA, or 14.4 V 135 mA
1450 G-3 1/2 24 V 35 mA
1895 G-4 1/2 14 V 270 mA

The original bayonet bulb for O22 switches is the 1445, 18V, 0.15A, G3-1/2, 15/16" length.

Radio Shack does not show this bulb in their on-line list. Have you tried a local hobby shop?

You may also want to consider a 1450 bulb (24 volts, G3 1/2, mini-bayonet), especially if the switch lanterns are melting.
