Anyone know where I can get this piece for a bridge?

I have a bridge that came with extra parts to the layout I bought, however it is missing one of the pieces at the end that connect it to the bridge support. Does anyone know if I can get this piece separately? It is the part that screws to the bridge and says Atlas on it.

Also any idea where I could get more bridge supports like this? That fit this bridge?

Thanks!

Try contacting Atlas directly. Here’s the website: https://shop.atlasrr.com/. I’m not sure if that’s a part from their current line, but their customer service is pretty good.

Hope this helps,
DFF

That bridge looks ancient.

I think it is a neat looking bridge, I’d like to be able to use it. I actually have 2.

It matches the coloring and weathering of a bridge already on my layout that I’m expanding.

Good looking layout. Love the bridges.

The reason your bridges match is because they’re both Atlas products and are designed to be used together. The curved chord truss bridge is Item #887 or #87 and can be found on eBay. I realize you need only a part (known as the “Atlas Pier Adapter”), so, while you’re probably not interested in spending $30 or $40 to get a small piece, the auction that I came across shows the back of the box with instructions, showing how these bridges can fit together and how they fit to the piers, including your missing Pier Adapter.

Sorry I can’t be of more help.

That makes since if they are designed to be used together.

Thanks for the info!

I would look on Ebay. Another good source is your good ol’ local hobby shop. If you can’t find it in the used parts bin, ask the owner. He might have some parts in the “back office”.

I would think you could fabricate one out of styrene in short order, unless I am missing something.

I was thinking on the same lines. Worth a try at least.

Yeah, there are all sorts of ways to fabricate that part.
