I need a cute little house. They seem to have one, but the price is high and brass construction would be new to me. I am looking for some people with experiences in these areas.

I’m not sure I’d call a Victorian of that size “little” although it is cute.
Have you looked up the Atlas “Lovely Ladies” houses -

I have atempted unsuccessfully[:(] to build two commercial building.
This is not really meant to be a criticism. They are a fine product and I have seen beautiful models made from them. It is just that metal is not my thing. I prefer wood, paper, plastic, plaster and resin models.
The details are flat compared to othe materials (probably closer to scale thickness). Proper painting is important to make them look right.
I havn’t built any of their buildings, but I did build a billboard frame for one of their animated signs. It is a bend to break apart/put tab a in slot a/glue with CA (crazy glue). First time I tried this and it came out great! Good luck!
Sounds like this is not a very popular product. Is it the cost, the looks or the difficulty to build??
