Apparently the French can fly a train but have a hard time shunting.

We gotta love our Allies across the pond for this. They can fly a TGV but have a hard time stopping inside a station once in a while. I dont know what sort of train they had for this particular incident.

From the little I can see of the train in the picture it is probable a double decker like this:

Found it on http://www.railfaneurope.net/.

edit: it should be .net not .com

Greetings,

How exactly are you relating the TGV speed record and a minor commuter train incident? What would you say if someone from France logged in here and said, “Look at those stupid Joes in the States, they may have built a railway across the continent but they can’t run the Acela on time.”

And we would have deserved that parting shot too. We are constantly late on everything and sit people for a day inside aircraft 100 feet from a ternimal gate in a little snow.

A little bit of horseplay, all in fun. Going to get a nip or two along the way.

How is 71 injured a minor accident [%-)] .

But I admit the French are fast.Just a little slow to put the brakes on [zzz].
