Thank you; enjoy and appreciate these early looks at the contents of the coming magazine. Love that #7, too.

OH Yeah!! That’s what I grew up with!!! Send more videos!!!

also, as I grew up on a railroad that ran in my front yard, literally, I love those old Steam / Smoke belching engines!! Too bad they don’t run by anymore. I truly miss them as I’m in my latter years… Too bad the youth of today don’t get to see them. I wish I could win a lottery and I would spend every dollar on building a kids railroad w/ STEAM in Belmont, Ga. So, these young ones would know what built this Nation.

Too All: For what it is worth. My family has160+ acres east of Atlanta, Ga. in Belmont, Ga. With a little investment, we could build one heck of a railroad that could be the Southeasts hub for all small gauge railroads. We could do an annual Railroad meet. We already have the equipment to move dirt and lay track. We just need some financial backing to help. If interested, feel free to contact me @sgttom504@aol.com. Everyone interested that invests will have a fair monetary return. I want nothing for me but to build a Railroad for the Kids… SGT Tom

great thanks

That #7 looked and sounded like a strong steamer. Going to have to find out where to ride that one. It was fun watching it. Looking forward to the next issue of Trains magazine.

I am waiting for it. Dave Fleming

On page 27 of Roy Blanchard’s very well written and interesting story on the South Dakota RCP&E line, the caption on the lower right corner of page lists the UP as an interchange with the line. I looked all over the above map on said page and could not find anywhere showing the UP crossing the RCP&E tracks. Again, great article and MAGAZINE, and am not nit picking, just wondering . . As much as I like the cover of Trains magazine thanks a lot that you moved them to appreciate # 7 full screen as it passed !!!

Do you have any stories or pictures regarding the Rockingham Railroad, Rockingham, N.C.
