Like many, I recently found my access to Kalmbach archives ended, with the requirement I now had to sign up to the new Trains Unlimited.
I did that, however, when I try to use the “new” archives, I find either:
–Pitch buttons asking me to sign up for the archives as well (I thought Trains “Unlimited” included archives of all the publications?)?
–The Archive lacks a search function that I can see, aside from pulling up a full year’s worth of magazines. The problem is that, without ability to search a topic/subject, in effect, I can’t find what I’m looking for without knowing the date it appeared in a magazine? Which seems to defeat functionality of an archive, IMHO.
Am I missing something here, as in a search bar/engine that I can’t see or is hiding on my screen?
I posed this question last week to Kalmbach customer service, but have yet to hear back.
