I know that there are some WP locos in original paint at some museums out west, I would venture to guess that most of those other roads have locos in museums still in original paint.
I mean currently owned by a RR or industry
eg- Ex-CNW unit owned by ADM

There are several New Haven engines still in active daily revenue service – including FL-9’s, SW1200’s, RDC’s, GP’s, and one RS-1.
Not counting museums either…
Yes, there are several WP locos preserved at the Western Pacific Railroad Museum (Formerly the Feather River Rail Society) in Portola, Ca. You can even run one for $100 and hour at the museum (rent a loco program). While not owned by the UP (WPs successor) they do get out on the mainline for equiptment swaps with other museums and railroads.

chessies are on rc duty up in the yards in michigan.I know there id a former mopac in blue as a leaser engine. not sure where he is.

A few weeks ago,I saw a NS SD40 sub lettered SOU,for Southern Railway.All NS units have small lettering under the cab showing the origanil owner.I have also recently seen units from NW.
