It seems topics I’ve already visited are now highlighted, indicating I’ve been there.
Am I crazy, or did MR just add this?
I love it - saves me time in trying to find threads that interest me!

Topics with new posts since your last visit have the file folder on the far left colored in. Others without new posts are yellow. Is this what you mean?
Bob Boudreau
No, I don’t see the coloring in of folders that you’re referring to.
The topics that I haven’t read at all, or not in a long time are darker blue. The ones I’ve read recently (i.e., that I’m following) are light blue. So I scan for the light blue to check in on topics I’m following.
I have noticed the lighter shading of the topic titles as well. A helpful addition to the Forum! Who deserves the thank you? Bergie? In which case thank you!
Will
I HAVE noticed that the one’s I’ve read are a lighter shade. I wish it were just a tad lighter, but I can still discern the colour change. This has been a recent modficiation, because previously I have only noticed the shading alterations on the Classic Toy Trains, and Railroads fora.
Same here, they seem to be baby blue on the visited posts.
Yea. It seems like it just started doing that yesterday. What I don’t understand is why some of the animated pics in peoples sigs work sometimes and don’t work others.
Did bergie do this over the weekend?
I welcome it.

I think they may have changed sometime early this morning. I was here after midnight and early this morning the website went down. They must have been mantainence on it.
At least it’s up and running today!

I think it was done at the beggining of the week. The topics were already highlited, just in a darker shade of blue instead of the “New and Improved” sky blue.[:)]
It looks like the information about which topics that you have looked at is kept in a cookie on your computer. When I delete all of the cookies stored (which, I think, one should do periodically anyway), all of the topics go to the same color.
Yeah, it’s definately a cookie-related thing.
I like it - makes browsing the forum much quicker!
As you can see, I’ve been on this one before, but it isn’t highlited anymore!

Thanks for validating this I thought I was going bonkers! It does save time.
Terry
The same highlight applies if you look at someones profile.
There name is a lighter blue.
Ken.
I deleted my “history” record in IE and the highlighting went away. I noticed that my highlighting was different at home than it was at work.
