Does anyone know of any Model Railroad clubs in the Chicago Area perfeerabbly the Western Subarbs that take teenagers? ALL INFO APPRICATED

Elmhurst Model railroad club in Elmhurst of course. There’s an N gauge club that is related to a hobby shop in Lombard. And I think there is a club that meets at the golf course in Bensenville - N gauge, White pines golf course. Do a search for Chicago modelrailroad clubs on google for more info.

I know what you mean about being a teenager and wanting to join a club. When I was a teen a local club really frowned upon younger members and those with little knowledge of railroading.

There should be some contacts from the Palatine/Lyons Twp NMRA shows held this past month. Also check at the GATS/Wheaton show swapmeet.
