Among the many, many great (and confusing) literary works is the Bible. Therein are the words of a prophet named Isaiah who spoke of “new heavens and a new earth,” and, at an unclear location, individuals would “build houses” and actually “inhabit them” themselves and not some others. (Isaiah 65:17, 21, 22) If Isaiah envisioned something like that for the then distant future, since “houses” are often built with lumber, and lumber needs to be transported to building sites, and the most efficient way of transportation is railroading, logically, would trains exist with any future “new heavens” and “new earth”?
Listen to Boxcar Willies version of the Wabash Cannonball. It says,"We’ll carry them up to heaven on the Wabash Cannonball."So to answer your question Yes.
have a great day

I don’t know about heaven, but my Grandpa use to tell me that if I wasn’t good I wound be hand firing a leaky steam engine in the lower inferno regions of that other place…
No
Not sure where, maybe Revelation,
“and his house was full of his great train”.
If there’s no trains, it ain’t heaven.
–David
Yes indeed there are trains in Heaven, but…
no trainmasters. jackflash
come on guys when i die and go to heaven i want to go fishing not run another train, even if there isnt any train masters, or road formans. peace and quite
How do you think they get to all seven gates ?

Proverbs 22:6 - “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he gets old he will not depart from it.” That sounds as if you get a kid on the right track, he will get to heaven. I don’t know if the train goes further than to the depot but I’ll bet there will be train watchers there.
If anyone enjoys the old Tom & Jerry cartoons like I do,(I’m still a kid at heart) then you will remember the one where Tom goes to heaven and the train is getting ready to pull out on the other side of the kingdom.
So maybe there are.
As long as heaven is like Kentucky then I will be even happier.

No?
Each of us has our own idea of what heaven will be like. Mine is of a place where there are no cares, no pain, no strife…and my wife of 30 years by my side for eternity, a nice warm fire, some “comfort food”, cable TV to watch all of those old shows and black and white monster movies and LOTS OF TIME AND PLACES TO WATCH TRAINS TO MY HEARTS CONTENT!
We’ll get to ride the tri-weekly mixed train between Mount Idy and Lake Wobegone — consult agent for details.
The way I see the Bible, it ain’t confusing at all! If ya live right - that is: treating people right and not wanting anything that would hurt anyone - you get to go to Heaven.
And what could make heaven Heaven except that you get your pure heart’s desire. For me, that’s my wife at my side, my family, and trains - all in the presence of God.
Of course there are trains in Heaven - and even other good stuff we have never even heard of yet. And there won’t be any terrorists. Or any fascists hassling you just because you watch trains either.

Yes there are,and won’t it be great to meet old time railroaders like Casey Jones.
Of course there will be trains in heaven… after all, you don’t expect the angles to fly in bad weather, and the airport taxes and security these days…well! I mean really, you’d need trains wouldn’t you. And they’ll be as fast as the bullet train, and as beautiful as the orient express ![]()
Yes
Anyone familiar with the old folk/blues song “Bound for Glory”(also the title of a fine film about Woodie Guthrie starring David Carradine) knows the answer to this one…
Don’t bother wondering 'cause when you’re dead, you’re dead. No more, finito!
Heaven is literally what you make of it. If you want trains, you’ve got 'em. But you may find that you don’t want or need them there. Check out the movie “What Dreams May Come” starring Robin Williams, for a glimpse.
