Read about this article on the AC Forum ! Thanks for another of your well-written reviews ! Does sound like a great product . . . budget time
This is everything I wanted in a control system and is very easy to program and operate. The short antenna makes the Plug and Play receiver easy to install, and the transmitter fits in a shirt pocket. The long radio range, MU function, soft reverse for switching, and built-in auxiliary controller for sound are features I was looking for in a Radio Control system. I was so impressed I sold my radio controlled DCC equipment and bough a six pack of the Revolution receivers to install in my other diesels.

I too agree, good article and even better product. I’ve installed three receivers and everything works like adds and articles says it will.
I give it 5 stars

I would like to know why Aristo does not make this unit compatible with the QSI sound system in their catalog. I have installed two of these sound units and I am told the QSI sound will not work with this controller. I really wanted to go with this controller till I found this out.
i just got this revolution last year and put two recievers in two diesels one was plug and play the other i had to wire in b&o diesel not bad to do.i have a shay and climax that is next to do.this will take time i am sure but i do like the revolution.i was told that in april the revolution will work with lgb and aristocraft switch may have to send in revolution.

Sounds good, worth another look. Has anyone created a market for used TE xmtrs and RXs? Just joking. Guess I’ll just wait until the piggy bank can stand it. Very informative article - good writing.
Waits still for an EMD U 30 c or an Turbine
Thanks Kevin, everything I wanted to know before committing!

I had this put into a Center Cab diesel, pre - DCC model. Runs great but there is no speaker provided. Anyone know a supplier for a speaker with the right plug on it for the Revolution ?
