pretty good deal ehh

If it wasn’t obvious from the link, specials for aluminum track only.

The Aristo track sale starts 1 January, buy 4 boxes get one free, brass or SS.

Regards, Greg

It’s just on aluminum track. There’s only 1ft straights and 4ft diameter curves, and almost none left.

The usual track sale is buy 4 get 1 free in January and February. Suggestion is to buy early and send the receipt in early.

Hey Gang,
I don’t want to burst the big sale bubble here, but[#dots]
I don’t care from who you buy your track but… If the whole idea is to svel some cash here is something to think about.

I just did the math.
Example. Aristo regular price for a case of 12.5 curve in brass is $145.00 and Stainless is $172.00.
If the deal is buy four get one free, four cases of brass is $580.00 and Stainless is $688.00. Then you get your case of free track so the actual case price if each is $117.60 for brass and $137.60 for stainless. That is a decent savings off the regular price.
What if I told you there was a place in Western NY that their everyday price was less than the sale at Aristo. And … you wouldn’t have to wait for that one-time a year to purchase.

The every day price for a case of 12.5 curve is $94.56 and stainless is $103.99
Remember the 12.5 diameter is just the example but… it’s all relative to the size track you buy. Just compare the numbers. I am all for loyalty and all but if the idea is to save cash for other things what is the best deal?

Yup. If you buy 4 boxes from that dealer at $94.56 each, Aristo will send you a fifth free, making your price per box about 75.65[:D]

Can’t beat that with a stick. Thought you had to purchase from Aristo only. I may have to switch over to stainless just because of that. WOW.

Aristo-Craft supports us dealers[:)] Unfortunately, I’m kindof stuck right now and can’t deal.[xx(]

And what might be this store…

I also would like to know the information about this train store.

What is its name, where is it located and how do you contact them?

jbwilcox, please add something in your profile so we can e-mail you.

A flash-in-the-pan called Gardentrack. See http://www.gardentrack.com Then guess who it was[:D]

The only trouble is cash as just as I got started, 2/3 of my funding was withdrawn and my main business, software contracting, went dead[xx(] The hope was to get something started as a side business to help fill in the gaps of contracting, but turns out it coinsided with a big gap.

This was rather disappointing.

First of all, the 12.5 diameter track is not available and there is no cost.

Secondly, for other diameters, i.e., 10 foot diameter, St Aubin beats their prices by about 10.00 a bundle.

10 foot diamter switches are about 10.00 cheaper at St Aubin also.

I guess it was wishful thinking but I was hoping for a good buy.

Whos’ prices? Mine? My site’s not supposed to be leaking that information out, just so’s none of the other vendors can complain about me advertising a price I can’t deliver[;)]

The prices listed for the Aristo track sale are from Aristo’s website and are MSRP. Just about every mail order house sells them in the $94.00 range. I just checked trainworld’s site and they sell it for $94.99/box.

Matter of fact, I’m not even sure you can BUY track directly from Aristo.

Hope this eliminates any confusion.

Mark

Sure! Buy 4 from St. Aubins and Aristo will gladly send you a fifth!
