I was in Target today and found on clearance for $1.48 some M1A1 and Bradley and Stryker tanks from some brand called Macho Machines, so I got about half dozen thinking they would work on my HO layout… Sadly they are a little small but might work great for an N scale layout/ flat car load.
Unless they are really too small, I’d use them anyway. Unless there is something near them to give a size reference, it is really hard to tell just what is the right size and what isn’t.
Your post caught my eye as I work along the NS track that runs through Findlay towards Lima, Ohio, where the MIAIs are built. From time to time, we see them go by on flats and they do make an impressive load.

The M1A1’s are way too small and they would be near an HO flatcar, wouldn’t they? The Sherman M4’s are closer to HO but still a little small.

Seems easier than spending a year collecting Roco Shermans off of Ebay. Luckily, I found and won a large group of them, saved a little time(and money). As of today, I have 54 Roco Shermans.
