I am in the process of converting a large number of locos to DCC. It would be great if MR ran a series of articles showing step by step how to this for some of the more popular locos that require more than a simple plug and play (i.e. requiring resistors on the lights etc.)

How about one on transponding and computer detection of trains on the layout as viewed on the computer screen. Include the “controversy” of tortoise vs. switch master power machines as used with transponding - see Alan Gartner.

Kalmbach has just come out with an exelent book about DCC.
