Some months back there was an advertisement in MR for a ‘G’ scale articulated, ( 4-6-6-4 I believe), for just under $1000. I glanced at it as my main intrest is HO. Recently I got the urge to get involved with some big stuff due to an enthusiastic grandson and now I can’t find anything on it. By any chance is there someone who could shed some light on this? I would appreciate any help I can get.

MTH had a Gauge 1 UP 4-6-6-4 for around $1K a few years ago.

yep the mth challenger goes for 999.99 at the local hoby shop
and the have a gs-4 4-8-4 witch is realy nice.
