As Mother's day approachs, how many of your Mothers or mothers on the forum, have worked on the railroad ?

I thought about this while sending my Mom’ mothers day card.

How many of the forum members here.have had a mom work on the railroad ?

Or are there any women here that are mom’s who might work for the railroad,or had a grandmother work on the railroad ?[:D]

While my mother didn’t work for a railroad, she surely worked hard keeping me “on track”…LOL.

I know one mother who occasionally posts here, and is a railroad employee. Looking forward to seeing her and the kids next week. Oh, and her husband, too.

Does it count, if my mother-in-law and father-in-law both worked for the Milwaukee Road before WW II, and his father worked for the Milwaukee?[^]

I don’t know if this counts but my mom’s father (my grandfather) worked for 15 yrs as a ATSF sectionman in OK and was still working when he died in 1960–three yrs before I was born which of course I never knew him.
