ASKING FOR HELP

Okay, I am a true novice and am just getting started with my son. How do I make elevated trestles and bridges. Do the fastrack kits work with regular track and then what do I use to support the ends of the track or to make the bridge?

Welcome! The Fastrack kits are especially made to work with Fastrack. I’ve customized them to work with tubular track but it wasn’t an easy fit. There are however trestle kits that work with regular tubular track. Frankly, we’ve also used other home-made items, ranging from spindy wooden trestles to solid wooden blocks.

Doug,

Thanks for your help. I assume that the grade in the Fastrack is perfectly designed so the track lays “flat” with no bumps, but how do I go from an elevated trestle to a graduated trestle and vice versa and maybe add a bridge in between the graduated trestle - simplly connect a piece of track in between two longer spans of the same height trestle piece or do I need to buy a girder bridge section to support them or buy piers…?
