I have a Genisis 2-8-2 and a MRC #AD310 decoder.Are these compatable?The plugs area totally different.Thanks Guys.

Box Car,

That’s okay, so am I. I’ve only had my DCC system a couple of weeks now. It’s been a learning curve but…I’m learning [:)]. Some aspects are pretty straight forward. Others, take a little more time and experience to master. Keep with it. You won’t regret it.

Box Car, if you haven’t already, you should e-mal MRC directly and ask them what THEIR decoder recommendation is for the Athearn 2-8-2.
