I saw this one guy who installed a dcc & sound decoder in the Athearn AMD-103. He used tower LED’s for the headlights and back up lights. I tried looking everywhere for these tower led’s. Can anyone tell me where I can find them?

I took a different approach when I did my two P42s. I used Sunny White LEDs with reduced tips available from Richmond Controls. These went in the front and rear headlights. I then used the existing lenses for the ditch lights and added two Sunny White LEDs behind the lenses. I didn’t add any lights for the markers.

I would be wary though as the color output is not going to be all that great. You really should use Golden or Sunny white LEDs. White LEDs are just too blue for HO locomotive headlight usage.
