Athearn AMD 103

I recently purchased two of the Athearn RTR AMD 103 Amtrak engines. Both are the North East Corrider Paint scheme. Athearn only has two numbers available. I did see two engines, also AMD 103 in the Intercity paint and they look indentical. Is there any difference between the two that any one knows of? I cannot see any at all. They have two different numbers in these and it would save me time by not having to change numbers if I ordered a third North East Corridor.

The only difference between the paint jobs are that the Intercity ones have more silver highlights on the roof… The NEC ones have all grey roofs.

Very similar paint schemes though. I’d go for it.

Make sure you get a Phase V at some point also, they look great!
