Just an update on this thread. Since posting, I have installed the digitrax DCS52 system (Zephyr Express), love it. I went with the digitrax DH127 decoders for my DC locos. I have installed 6 or 7 in some older Athearn BB and Atlas locomotives. Initially I was using the controller to program the decoders. I have since installed JMRI and linked it with the Zephyr Express and now I use this combo to controll everything. Having a ball with this new system. I really like having the DC like controller next to my older MRC powerpack on the control station.
