Road numbers 8213 and 8258 come with the entire cab roof in BNSF orange as you would expect. Unit 8236 has the flat top part of the cab roof in green and the slanted sides of the roof in orange. Haven’t been able to find a pic of that unit (or numbers around it) shot from above to see if this is for real or a mistake on the model. Since it takes more time on the production line to paint the roof two colors, there had to be a reason (maybe). Thoughts?
I was on Athearns web sit to and I saw what you where talking about.
The BNSF SD75M’s cabs where all Orange. You are correct! Exept for the BNSF8236.
By the why do you own any of these Locomotives,Do you like them? How well do they perform on your layout?
I just got my Athearn HO BNSF 8213 in today and im very impressed by it.
Athearn sure has come a long way into making a major improvement in their HO Scale models over the Years, wow!

At least with the my Kato’s,At least they came out Perfect. No wounder why I never was that too crazy about Athearn in the first place. This will be the last one that ill ever buy.
And not only that there no holes in the cab for the windsheld wipers.[:(!],Morons.
