Are the lights that come in an Athearn Dash 9’s and AC4400’s 1.5v or 12v?
It does not list it on the parts sheet!

The blue box kits I’ve worked with are 14V, but I recommend you connect a single 1.5V battery across yours and see if it lights up (not with it connected to a decoder, though). Alternatively, turn it on and measure accross it with a voltmeter. If it’s 1.5v, it will be wired to some sort of voltage regulator, like lots of diodes.

I have an Athearn AC4400 RTR. The lights are 1.5 volts.
