Athearn loco wheels

I have some Athearn diesels that I want to change the wheels to NWSL wheels. What scale size are the Athearn loco wheels. I have SD40-2, Dash 9’s and GP50 and 38-2’s. Thanks for any help.

The wheel size should be 42". If you are looking for the weathered finish nickel-silver the part number is 37142-4. This is what I have used on my U28B and F7A units. I hope this helps.

The stock Athearn wheels are 42", but the prototypes are 40", but the Dash 9 may have 42". And some prototypes of the others may have 42" wheels.
